With all the challenges and constant demands faced in the Multi-Family industry, it is so easy to lose perspective, unable to see other points of view. With each interaction, it’s in our nature to plant deeper into who is “right” and who is “wrong.” In the right vs. wrong mindset, there are no winners. We must make an effort to first understand, and to see each case from a different perspective. This doesn’t apply to only resident-based cases like overdue rent. The wrong perspective of your own community could not only impact the happiness of current residents, but could make retention and leasing even more difficult, and affect your overall team morale on site.
